How We Recycle common items

Many parts of furniture, appliances, televisions, and mattresses can be recycled. Here at Sustainable Cleanouts, we focus on retrieving metal from items that contain it. We then separate the metal from the remaining components before disposing of the waste. For example, a refrigerator is primarily made of plastic, metal, and foam. We extract metals such as aluminum, steel, and copper from the fridge, which are subsequently recycled, while the leftover waste is properly disposed of at a landfill. If the unwanted items are in good condition, we donate them to facilities that accept donations of this kind.
